On 23 August 2018, the Senate referred the Treasury Laws Amendment (Improving the Energy Efficiency of Rental Properties) Bill 2018 to the Environment and Communications Legislation Committee (the committee) for inquiry and report by 23 November 2018.
The committee requests an extension of time to report until 5 December 2018 to allow it to
consider the evidence received and to conclude its deliberations.
