Inquiry into the operation of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999
Under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act, the
Commonwealth Government is required to conduct a review of the operation
of the Act 10 years after its commencement. That review, currently
underway, is independent from the Senate committee inquiry. For more
information about the independent review, please visit the webpage of the
review at: http://www.environment.gov.au/epbc/review/index.html.
