About this inquiry

The Telstra Corporation and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2021 proposes to amend several pieces of legislation, including the Telecommunications Act 1997, the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and the Telecommunications (Consumer Protection and Service Standards) Act 1999, to ensure that key regulatory obligations currently applying to Telstra Corporation Limited (Telstra) will also apply to the entities that comprise the Telstra Group, following its restructure.
