Australia’s faunal extinction crisis

On 23 July 2019, the Senate agreed to the committee's recommendation that this inquiry be re-adopted in the 46th Parliament for inquiry and report by 13 November 2019.

On 29 July 2019, the Senate granted the committee an extension of time to report to 26 March 2020.

On 25 November 2019, the Senate granted the committee a further extension of time to report to 7 September 2020.

On 26 March 2020, the reporting date was extended from 7 September 2020 to the second sitting Wednesday of 2021.

On 11 December 2020, the reporting date was extended to 30 November 2021.

On 22 November 2021, the reporting date was extended to 18 May 2022.

The committee requests an extension of time to report until 2 August 2022 to allow it to consider the evidence received and to conclude its deliberations.
