Inquiry into the provisions of the Australian Protective Service Amendment Bill 2002

On 15 May 2002, the Senate referred the above Bill to the Senate Legal and Constitutional Legislation Committee for report by 13 June, 2002.

The principal issue for consideration is the Government's proposal to make the Australian Protective Service an operating division of the Australian Federal Police.
