About this inquiry

The bill would amend six Commonwealth Acts in order to apply the Regulatory Powers Act (Standard Provisions) Act 2014 (Cth) to these legislative regimes. The intent of the bill is to simplify and streamline regulatory powers across the Commonwealth by implementing standardised monitoring, investigation and enforcement provisions.
