Migration Amendment (Repairing Medical Transfers) Bill 2019 [Provisions]

On 4 July 2019 the Senate referred the provisions of the Migration Amendment (Repairing Medical Transfers) Bill 2019 to the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 18 October 2019.

The deadline for submission to the inquiry is 16 August 2019.

About this inquiry

The bill would amend the Migration Act 1958 to repeal the medical transfer provisions inserted by the Home Affairs Legislation Amendment (Miscellaneous Measures) Act 2019.
