I present to you an interim report of the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs References Committee in relation to its inquiries into Australia's Judicial System and the Role of Judges, and Access to Justice.
The committee has concluded its examination of these references but requires more time to finalise its reports. The committee intends to present the final reports by Tuesday, 8 December 2009.
Recommendation:
The Committee recommends that the Senate extend the time for reporting on the inquiries into Australia's Judicial System and the role of judges, and Access to Justice, until Tuesday 8 December 2009.
