Information about the Inquiry

On 22 March 2012 the Senate referred the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator (Charges) Bill 2012 for inquiry and report.

The bill seeks to provide that audits for all registered training organisations be undertaken on a cost recovery basis. Please note that the committee is considering the details of proposed legislation; there are no additional terms of reference for this inquiry. Information about the bill can be found here.

Submissions should be received by 13 April 2012. The reporting date is 9 May 2012.

The Committee is seeking written submissions from interested individuals and organisations preferably in electronic form submitted  online or sent by email to  economics.sen@aph.gov.au as an attached Adobe PDF or MS Word format document. The email must include full postal address and contact details.
