On 20 September 2012 the Senate jointly referred the provisions of the  Clean Energy (Charges-Customs) Amendment Bill 2012; the Clean Energy (Charges-Excise) Amendment Bill 2012; the Clean Energy (Unit Issue Charge-Auctions) Amendment Bill 2012; the Clean Energy Amendment (International Emissions Trading and Other Measures) Bill 2012; the Excise Tariff Amendment (Per-tonne Carbon Price Equivalent) Bill 2012; the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas (Import Levy) Amendment (Per-tonne Carbon Price Equivalent) Bill 2012 and the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas (Manufacture Levy) Amendment (Per-tonne Carbon Price Equivalent) Bill 2012 for inquiry and report.

Submissions should be received by 3 October 2012. The reporting date is 29 October 2012.

The Committee is seeking written submissions from interested individuals and organisations preferably in electronic form submitted  online or sent by email to  economics.sen@aph.gov.au as an attached Adobe PDF or MS Word format document. The email must include full postal address and contact details.
