Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (Repeal) (No. 1) Bill 2014

On 27 March 2014, the Senate referred the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (Repeal) (No. 1) Bill 2014 to the Senate Economics Legislation Committee for inquiry and report.

Submissions closing date is 2 May 2014. The reporting date is 16 June 2014.

About this inquiry

The bill proposes to repeal the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Act 2012, thereby abolishing the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). The bill also proposes transitional arrangements relating to a successor agency of the ACNC.
