Inquiry into national security risks affecting the Australian higher education and research sector

The Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security (PJCIS) has commenced an inquiry into national security risks affecting the Australian higher education and research sector with terms of reference from the Minister for Home Affairs. The requested reporting date from the Minister is July 2021.

Making a Submission
The Committee invites written submissions addressing any or all aspects of the inquiry. Prospective submitters are advised that any submission to the inquiry must be prepared solely for this purpose and should not be published prior to being accepted by the Committee. Submitters are requested to provide the Committee with their views and considered recommendations in this area and, if an organisation in the sector, to please forward this invitation to your contacts and any parties you feel may be interested in this inquiry. Submissions are requested by Friday, 18 December 2020.
