On 5 December 2019 the Senate referred the provisions of the Student Identifiers Amendment (Enhanced Student Permissions) Bill 2019 to the Education and Employment Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 19 February 2020.

The closing date for submissions is 23 January 2020.
