On 2 December 2015, the Senate referred an inquiry into the provisions of the Family Assistance Legislation Amendment (Jobs for Families Child Care Package) Bill 2015 to the Education and Employment Legislation Committee report by 17 March 2016.  

The closing date for submissions is 29 January 2016.

On Thursday 17 March, the Senate granted an extension of time for reporting until 4 April 2016.
