Export Control Amendment (Banning Cotton Exports to Ensure Water Security) Bill 2019 

On 14 February 2019, the Senate moved that the following matters be referred to the Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 12 August 2019.

Submissions closed on 8 April 2019.

The Export Control Amendment (Banning Cotton Exports to Ensure Water Security) Bill 2019 lapsed at the end of the 45th Parliament. The committee is therefore not tabling a report, but  agreed to table all submissions and associated material, including correspondence received as part of the inquiry.
