  1. The committee met in private session on 24 May 2018.
  2. Pursuant to the resolution of the Senate of 9 May 2018 referring the provisions of time critical bills to legislative and general purpose standing committees for inquiry and report, the committee has considered the provisions of the following bills and, by unanimous decision, has determined that there are no substantive matters that require examination:
    • Health Insurance (Approved Pathology Specimen Collection Centres) Tax Amendment Bill 2018; and
    • Health Legislation Amendment (Improved Medicare Compliance and Other Measures) Bill 2018.

The committee reports accordingly.
