Social Services Legislation Amendment (Encouraging Self-sufficiency for Newly Arrived Migrants) Bill 2018

On 28 March 2018, the Senate referred the Social Services Legislation Amendment (Encouraging Self-sufficiency for Newly Arrived Migrants) Bill 2018 to the Senate Community Affairs Legislation Committee for inquiry and report.

Submissions were sought by 11 April 2018. The reporting date is 4 May 2018.  The Committee has sought an extension to the reporting date and will now report on 18 May 2018.  The Committee has sought a further extension to the reporting date and will now report on 25 May 2018. The Committee has sought a further extension to the reporting date and will now report on 15 June 2018. The Committee has sought a further extension to the reporting date and will now report on 22 June 2018. The Committee has sought a further extension to the reporting date and will now report on 29 June 2018. The Committee has sought a further extension to the reporting date and will now report on 14 August 2018. On 14 August 2018, the Senate granted an extension of time for reporting until 21 August 2018. On 21 August 2018, the Senate granted an extension of time for reporting until 19 September 2018. On 19 September 2018, the Senate granted an extension of time for reporting until 17 October 2018. On 17 October 2018, the Senate granted an extension of time for reporting until 28 November 2018.
