Dear Mr President

On 14 November 2019, the Senate referred the provisions of the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority Amendment (Sport Integrity Australia) Bill 2019 to the Senate Community Affairs Legislation Committee (Committee) for inquiry and report. Submissions were sought by 17 January 2020 and the committee was due to report on 3 February 2020.

The Committee has received 6 submissions.

The Committee has agreed to seek an extension to the reporting date to 5 February 2020 to enable it to conclude its deliberations.
