Stronger Futures in the Northern Territory Bill 2011 and two related bills

Information about the Inquiry

On 25 November 2011 the Senate jointly referred the Social Security Legislation Amendment Bill 2011 and the Stronger Futures in the Northern Territory (Consequential and Transitional Provisions) Bill 2011 and the Stronger Futures in the Northern Territory Bill 2011 for inquiry and report.

Submissions should be received by 01 February 2012. The reporting date is 29 February 2012. The Senate granted an extension of time for reporting until 13 March 2012.

The Committee is seeking written submissions from interested individuals and organisations preferably in electronic form submitted online or sent by email to community.affairs.sen@aph.gov.au as an attached Adobe PDF or MS Word format document. The email must include full postal address and contact details.
