Inquiry into Gene Patents
Information about the Inquiry
On 30 September 2010 the Senate referred the following matter to the Senate Community Affairs Committee for inquiry and report.
The committee considered this inquiry in the 42nd Parliament, however due to the timing of the election and the prorogation of parliament, was unable to table a substantive report.
The committee will continue to consider evidence taken in the previous parliament.
Submissions should be received by 26 August 2010. The reporting date is 25 November 2010.
The Committee is seeking written submissions from interested individuals and organisations preferably in electronic form submitted online or sent by email to community.affairs.sen@aph.gov.au as an attached Adobe PDF or MS Word format document. The email must include full postal address and contact details.
