Aged Care (Living Longer Living Better) Bill 2013 and four related bills - change of committee reporting date
The Senate Community Affairs Legislation committee advises that it intends to present its report on the aged care package of bills on Friday 31 May 2013. The tabling date originally set by the Senate was 17 June 2013.
The committee has completed a program of public hearings in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. It is also seeking further information from the Department of Health and Ageing to assist with completion of its report.
