The Australian Taxation Office’s proposed fit-out of new leased premises at 6 Paramatta Square, Sydney, NSW will be reviewed by the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Works at a public hearing on 30 September 2022. The proposed works to install an office fit-out to the Australian Taxation Office’s new lease premises at Parramatta Square are due to be completed in April 2023 with a total estimated cost of $64.36 million, excluding GST. Mr Graham Perret MP, Committee Chair said, ‘the public hearing will provide the Committee with an opportunity to consider the Taxation Office’s stated purpose, need and value for money of the proposed works.’ The Committee will hear from the Australian Taxation Office and the Australian Services Union at the public hearing.
