Implementation Plan

In accordance with Recommendation 22 of the Committee's Advisory Report on the Criminal Code Amendment (High Risk Terrorist Offenders) Bill 2016, the Attorney-General, Senator the Hon George Brandis QC, provided the Committee with the Implementation Plan on 25 November 2016. 


In accordance with Recommendation 23 of the Committee's Advisory Report on the Criminal Code Amendment (High Risk Terrorist Offenders) Bill 2016, the Attorney-General, Senator the Hon George Brandis QC, provided the Committee with a timetable for implementation of any outstanding matters being considered by the High Risk Terrorist Offenders (HRTO) Implementation Working Group by 30 June 2017.

The report sets out the progress that has been made by the HRTO Implementation Working Group as of June 2017, and outlines the work that will continue to be progressed from July 2017 onwards.
