Inquiry into whether there has been improper interference with the Member for Ryan

Terms of Reference: On 3 June 2010, the House referred to the Committee the following matter:

having regard to the matters raised in the House on 31 May 2010 by the Leader of the House and referred to in the House on 2 June 2010 by the Member for Ryan, whether the Member for Ryan has been subject to improper interference, or attemtped improper interference, with the free performance of his duties as a Member, and, if so, whether a contempt has been committed.

Inquiry into the use of mobile devices during proceedings

Terms of Reference: On 18 March 2010, the House referred to the Committee the following matter:

having regard to the matter complained about by the Hon Member for Fisher, whether formal rules should be adopted by the House to ensure that the use of mobile devices during proceedings does not interfere with the free exercise by a House or a committee of its authority or functions, or with the free performance by a member of his or her duties as a member.
