Inquiry into certain aspects of non-print material
This inquiry lapsed at the prorogation of the 39th Parliament.
The Joint Committee on Publications is empowered under the standing orders of the House of Representatives (
standing order 328), and the Senate (standing order 22), to inquire into and report on:
- the printing, publication and distribution of parliamentary and government publications, and
- other matters which may be referred by the relevant Minister.
This inquiry was limited to non-print based material authored by Australian Government agencies and the Australian Parliament. The Committee was particularly interested in preservation of and access to such material.
