These pages list the attendance of senators in the Senate chamber on sitting days during the calendar year.
Under section 20 of the Constitution, senators can lose their places if they fail to attend the Senate for two consecutive months without permission. A senator can be granted leave of absence with the consent of the chamber. Senators who are absent without the Senate's approval are shown as "Absent without leave".
