Additional Comments by the Opposition and Australian Greens

Opposition and Australian Greens Senators were concerned that the
Minister representing the Government at the June 19th hearing, did
not provide assistance nor cooperation. While there is always dynamic
interchange in any committee process, we believe that the Minister interrupted
the process of questioning, did not allow, or spoke over the department
officers and made extensive contributions which prevented the operation of the
estimates process.
