Progress report

On 27 March 2024, the Senate referred an inquiry into the Net Zero Economy Authority Bill 2024 [Provisions] and the Net Zero Economy Authority (Transitional Provisions) Bill 2024 [Provisions] to the Senate Finance and Public Administration Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 10 May 2024.

The committee requests an extension of time to report until Monday 13 May 2024 to allow it to consider the evidence received and to conclude its deliberations.
