Telecommunications Legislation Amendment (Enhancing Consumer Safeguards and Other Measures) Bill 2023 [Provisions]

Progress report

On 8 February 2024, the Senate referred the provisions of the Telecommunications Legislation Amendment (Enhancing Consumer Safeguards and Other Measures) Bill 2023 to the Environment and Communications Legislation Committee (thecommittee) for inquiry and report by 14 March 2024.

The committee requests an extension of time to report until 18 March 2024 to allow it to consider the evidence received and to conclude its deliberations.
