Optus Network Outage

Progress report

On 9 November 2023, the Senate referred terms of reference relating to the Optus Network Outage to the Environment and Communications References Committee, for inquiry and report by 9 December 2023.

On 28 February 2024, the committee was granted an extension of time for the report until 9 May 2024.

The committee is conducting its inquiry and requests an extension of time to report until 11 September 2024 to allow it to consider the evidence received and to conclude its deliberations.
