Terms of reference

The Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Cyber Security, the Hon Tony Burke MP, wrote to the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security on 13 January 2025 to refer the Transport Security Amendment (Security of Australia’s Transport Sector) Bill2024 for inquiry and report, pursuant to paragraph 29(1)(b) of the Intelligence Services Act 2001.
