Bill 2014

Representatives, 26 June 2014

1.1
The Meteorology Amendment (Online Advertising) Bill 2014 (the bill)

Director of Meteorology to include advertising in connection with the Bureau of
Meteorology’s services and require the Director to develop and publish
guidelines relating to advertising.

that the bill is 'compatible with human rights because to the extent that it
may limit human rights, those limitations are reasonable, necessary and
proportionate'.[1]
1.3
