Private Health Insurance Amendment (GP Services) Bill 2014

1.113          The Private Health Insurance Amendment (GP Services) Bill 2014 seeks to amends the Private Health Insurance Act 2007 to clarify that private health insurers may not enter into agreements or arrangements with primary care providers that provide preferential treatment to their members.

1.14                  The committee considers that the bill does not appear to give rise to human rights concerns.
