Education in Remote and Complex Environments

On Wednesday, 27 November 2019, the Committee adopted an inquiry referred by the Minister for Education, the Hon Dan Tehan MP, to inquire into and report on the education of students in remote and complex environments.

 

On Wednesday, 11 November 2020, the Committee presented its report on Education in remote and complex environments.

About this inquiry

This inquiry will look at the role of culture, family and community in delivering better education outcomes for students living in remote Australia and in complex environments. The Committee’s work will take into consideration the initiatives in place to meet the unique learning needs of students in these areas and to address barriers that they may face when accessing education.
