Results of the 2024 census are positive and compare favourably to the APS overall. The results continue to show a strong connection with the department and its purpose. Specific strengths include:

• 92% of respondents indicated they are proud to work for the department;
• Recommending the department as a good place to work received 88% positive response – 17% higher than the APS average;
• 91% of respondents indicated they believed strongly in the purpose and objectives of this department;
• Respondents felt confident that the culture of the department supported employees to act with integrity, receiving an 86% positive response – 10% higher than the APS average.
