Health and wellness services at Parliament House

DPS is committed to providing and maintaining a healthy and safe working environment at Australian Parliament House. There is a suite of health and wellness services available to all building occupants.

Employees in Commonwealth Parliamentary Workplaces are entitled to use Personal/Carer’s leave to attend appointments with registered health practitioners.

Non-sitting weeks: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm

Sitting weeks: Monday – Thursday 6:30 am – 5:00 pm

Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm

Barton Pharmacy provides a service to have prescriptions filled. This service covers prescription medication not 'over-the-counter' purchases and there is no delivery charge for the service.

Hair and Wellness Centre offers a range of services, including beauty and massage treatments.

Health and Recreation Centre offers a range of facilities including a gym and pool, as well as yoga and fitness classes.

The HRC provides 24-hour access including weekends to members.
