On 2 August 2022, the Senate in the 47th Parliament referred an inquiry into UNDRIP to the Joint Standing Committee on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs (JSCATSIA) for inquiry and report. All public submissions that were accepted and published by this committee have been accepted as evidence by JSCATSIA.
