The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Works has announced that it will scrutinise a new $53 million proposal from Services Australia to fitout a new leased premises at 52-62 King William Street, Adelaide. The inquiry into Services Australia’s Proposed fit out of new leased premises at 52–62 King William Street, Adelaide will examine the need for the consolidation of the current five sites in the Adelaide Central Business District to a new site at 52-62 King William Street, Adelaide. Under the proposal, Services Australia will 28,500 meters squared of office accommodation within the building. The Committee would like to hear from all individuals or organisations interested in the project. Submissions for the project will be accepted until Wednesday, 18 November 2020. Public hearing details Date: Monday, 23 November 2020 Time: 9.30 am to 10.00 am (AEST) Location: via teleconference The hearing will be broadcast live at aph.gov.au/live Please note: the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Works is not involved in the tendering process, awarding of contracts or details of the proposed works.
