Key events

  • The House sat for one day only, on Friday, 23 September, for a condolence motion on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
  • In total, 113 members contributed to debate throughout the sitting, before the House adjourned as a mark of respect.
  • A new program of sittings was also agreed to by the House to allow for sittings to take place on the week of 26 September.
