Referral of Additional Legislation by House

Telecommunications Legislation Amendment (Consumer Protection) Bill 2013

On 21 March 2013, the House Selection committee asked the Committee to inquire into and report on the Telecommunications Legislation Amendment (Consumer Protection) Bill 2013.

As the referral of legislation was from the House, the Chair of the Committee, Senator Doug Cameron, was not required to report to the Senate. On 17 June 2013, Mr John Murphy MP (Reid, NSW) reported to the House by oral statement. The statement can be viewed at this link.
