The House of Representatives Standing Committee on Primary Industries and Regional Services chaired by FranBailey, MP, will hold a public hearing on Monday 23 August as part of its inquiry into infrastructure and the development of Australia's regional areas.

Representatives from the following organisations will give evidence at the public hearing:

• Department of Transport and Regional Services
• Australian Constructors Association
• REST Superannuation Fund
• Queensland Government

The hearing will take place in Committee Room 1R4, Parliament House, Canberra at 9.00 a.m.
