Review of Auditor-General's Reports tabled between August 2007 and August 2008
The Joint Committee of Public Accounts and Audit (JCPAA) is required by the
Public Accounts and Audit Committee Act 1951 to examine all reports of the Auditor-General which are tabled in the Parliament.
The JCPAA's review procedures are built around a series of public hearings. At these hearings evidence is taken from agencies which have been the subject of 'significant' audit findings.

The Committee reviewed the following audit reports:
Reports Nos. 4 to 26 (2007-08)
- Audit Report No. 10, Whole of Government Indigenous Service Delivery Arrangements; and
- Audit Report No. 21, The Regional Delivery Model for the Natural Heritage Trust and the National Action Plan for Salinity and Water Quality ;
Reports Nos. 27 (2007-08) to 2 (2008-09)
- Audit Report No. 32, Preparation of the Tax Expenditures Statement;
- Audit Report No. 42, Management of Customer Debt (Human Services portfolio); and
- Audit Report No. 46, Regulation of Commercial Broadcasting.
