Inquiry into bills referred 22 March 2012 (Shipping Reforms)

On 22 March 2012 the Selection Committee asked the Committee to inquire into and report on the following legislation:

• the Coastal Trading (Revitalising Australian Shipping) Bill 2012;
• the Coastal Trading (Revitalising Australian Shipping) (Consequential Amendments and Transitional Provisions) Bill 2012;
• the Registration Amendment (Australian International Shipping Register) Bill 2012;
• the Shipping Reform (Tax Incentives) Bill 2012;
• the Tax Laws Amendment (Shipping Reform) Bill 2012.

The Committee invites interested persons and organisations to make submissions addressing one or more of the proposed bills by Friday 13 April 2012. Please refer to our brochure called preparing a submission for more information.
