RESPONSE TO THE INQUIRY INTO THE APPROPRIATE ROLES OF INSTITUTES OF TECHNICAL AND FURTHER EDUCATION

The Nurses Board of South Australia has prepared this submission for the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Employment, Education and Training. The Nurses Board of South Australia has a legislative responsibility under the Nurses Act (1984) to ensure the South Australian community has access to nursing care of the highest standard of conduct and competence. This submission reflects the Nurses Board's commitment to ensuring safe, competent and ethical standards of nursing care

 

Point 1 - The appropriate roles of Institutes of technical and further education

Point 2 - The extent to which those. roles should overlap with universities
