2024 My First Speech Competition winners announced

Thank you to all the entrants for this year's competition, it was no easy task choosing our winners.

Congratulations to all the 2024 entrants

All the finalists will recieve a certificate signed by the Speaker and their local member. The winning students will now be invited along with a parent or guardian to join us here at Parliament House in Canberra on 5 & 6 November this year. The students will meet members of  parliament and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Hon Milton Dick MP along with others. They will also be invited to give their speech at a live event at Parliament House which will be streamed on our Facebook page for family, friends and teachers to watch at 12pm EDST.

All of the entries to this year's competition will be given to local members, this helps them to know what is important to students in their electorates.
