Autumn Courtyards of Parliament House Tour

About the tour

Bursting with the rich red, orange and golden colours of autumn, come and explore the private courtyards of Australian Parliament House.

Join a tour and discover that Parliament House is not only the seat and symbol of Australia's democracy, but a masterpiece of landscape architecture and design.

Each courtyard is different from the next through sculpture, scale, plant selection, and colour.

Led by a friendly guide, this walking tour is a rare opportunity to visit courtyards not normally open to the public. Engage in a tour highlight and have your photo taken with the renowned Budget Tree.

An optional refreshment package can be added to your ticket. The package includes a delicious scone and hot beverage of your choice from the Queen’s Terrace Cafe.

An accessible tour will run on Friday 9 May 2025 at 11:00 am. This session will move at a slower pace, with accessibility being front of mind.

Bookings are essential. Please book early to avoid disappointment as tickets always sell fast for this rare and unique experience.
