Reply to speech by Senator Brian Burston

My attention has been drawn to the fact that in the Senate on Wednesday, 5 December 2018, Senator Burston made an address, in which, inter alia, he stated that Senator Hanson's One Nation Party had received a gift into a trust fund styled the "One Nation Political Trust" that was "administered by Sydney-based solicitor Danny Eid."

I am concerned at this remark and am concerned that his making it has misled the Senate.

I wish to make it clear that that I do not hold any funds, nor administer any trust account and/or funds for the One Nation Party.

I have requested Senator Burston to withdraw the statement in the Senate.
