Pursuant to Senate standing order 38(7), I present to you the interim report of the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee entitled:
- Inquiry into the Human Rights (Parliamentary Scrutiny) Bill 2010 [Provisions] and the Human Rights (Parliamentary Scrutiny) (Consequential Provisions) Bill 2010 [Provisions]
The committee requires additional time to consider the evidence presented during the course of the inquiry, and intends to present its final report by 28 January 2011.
