SUPERANNUATION (ENTITLEMENTS OF SAME SEX COUPLES) BILL 2000

Public Hearing
13 MARCH 2000

The Senate Select Committee on Superannuation and Financial Services will be holding a Public Hearing in Canberra on the provisions of the Superannuation (Entitlements of Same Sex Couples) Bill 2000. The Senate referred the provisions of the Bill to the Committee for inquiry on 15 February 2000.

The Bill proposes to remove discrimination against same sex couples in respect of superannuation benefits.
