MATTERS RELATING TO SUPERANNUATION AND FINANCIAL SERVICES
Public Hearings 15 - 16 MAY 2000
The Senate Select Committee on Superannuation and Financial
Services will be holding Public Hearings in Sydney on matters relating
to superannuation and financial services. The Committee is inquiring
into:
- prudential supervision and consumer protection for superannuation,
banking and financial services;
- the opportunities and constraints for Australia to become a centre
for the provision of global financial services; and
- enforcement of the Superannuation Guarantee Charge.
The program for the Committees two days of hearings
is attached. The venue for the hearings is as follows:
